Yonder Mountain String Band Announced For Thursday Night Pre-Party at Backwoods 2019!

Attendees who purchase a Thursday Early Arrival Pass this year are in for a special treat... for the first year in history, we are opening up the main stage on Thursday for a very special 2 hour set from none other than Yonder Mountain String Band!

YMSB has been redefining Bluegrass music for the past 20 years. With over 2100 shows under their belt, it's clear that their fans keep coming back for more of the band's unique twist on the traditional acoustic genre.

On their most recent studio album LOVE. AIN’T LOVE (2017), Rolling Stone described the project as “modern bluegrass and punctuated by genre-jumping excursions into world music, reggae and all points in between."

Thursday night's festivities don't end there: Subkulture and Counter Collective have also teamed up and curated some acts just for you: Moon Man, DJ Blac, and PhLo will be keeping the party going at the CounterKulture Soundcamp!
