The Music
Backwoods has had top touring artists grace its stages over the years including Odesza, Porter Robinson, Rezz, and many more, securing some of the biggest names in the electronic and jam scenes. This year, Backwoods is focused on curating an electronic focused event, and plans to secure some of the largest acts in the EDM, house, techno, bass, and electro-jam scene for the April 2023 event. Stay tuned for more information on the lineup as the event dates get closer. Artists will be announced soon.
Art Installations & Visuals
Backwoods is bringing many visual artists this year to add incredible experiences to the event. Explore art installations and interactive experiences in the woods throughout the entire night.
Things to Do
There are a variety of things to do at Backwoods. Ride the LED Ferris Wheel (returning for 2023), hike down Mulberry Mountain and take a dip at the waterfall, explore art installations in the forest, attend a self-improvement workshop, practice yoga, or play your luck at the Circus Casino.
Lasers and Lights
There will be lasers and lights… lots of them… lasers you can see for miles and miles, like this photo, taken from Backwoods 2021, 14 miles away. <3
Performing Artists
Actors, clowns, stilt walkers, circus and stage performers will be wandering the woods to entertain and interact with attendees. Step into a new world with characters far beyond your imagination.
Food and Merch Vendors
Take a stroll down Shakedown Street and shop at one of the many Backwoods vendors. Grab a bite to eat, or new shoes for your feet. You’ll find anything and everything on vendor row.
Stages
This year we’re accommodating four uniquely designed stages, Motherland, The Globe, Satelite, and Backroads. Music is planned to run from around 12PM daily to 2AM with after parties nightly until 6AM.

Imagining starting your day with a calming and invigorating yoga and meditation session that will set your vibe just right for the rest of the day.
