The Way Down Wanderers are equal parts fast-paced and soulful; they not only draw listeners in with their energy and originality but captivate fans with a unique, touching story. Ben Montalbano (banjo) and Collin Krause (fiddle/mandolin) are half brothers who met each other for the first time 5 years ago.

This summer they were the fifth band announced for Summercamp Music Festival (IL), and they will be playing Phases of the Moon(AR), Hoxeyville(MI), Shoefest(IL), Down on the Farm(IL), and many more festivals. In addition to their many festival appearances, they will be embarking on a summer long tour of the West, with stops in IA, NE, CO, UT, ID, MO, OR, and more.
They are set to release their first full length album in September of 2015, and their first EP, “Path to Follow” has received critical acclaim. Recently they have released their single “Dead Birds” and they will be releasing a new EP in May of 2015.
